Zahra R. Haji
Biography
Zahra Haji is the Founder of Let’s Heal Today (LHT), a patient-centered healthcare initiative focused on integrating evidence-based medicine with psychological, emotional, and holistic care.
She holds masters degrees in Mental Health Psychology and Counselling Psychology and completed advanced training at internationally recognized institutions including Princess Margaret Cancer Centre, Yale University, Harvard Medical School, Johns Hopkins University, SickKids Toronto, and the University of Liverpool. At Princess Margaret Cancer Centre, she specialized in Psycho-Oncology under the mentorship of Dr. Madeline Li.
Previously, Zahra served as Psycho-Oncology Lead at Aga Khan University Hospital, Nairobi, where she established and led the hospital’s psychosocial oncology program and pioneered the integration of structured distress screening into routine cancer care through the Distress Assessment and Response Tool (DART).
Her work spans psycho-oncology, mental health, survivorship, research, and whole-person care, with a particular focus on advancing compassionate, multidisciplinary healthcare in Africa.
Through LHT, Zahra is working to create a model of care where clinical excellence, human connection, and the well-being of the whole person come together.

Dr. Kiran Chhabhadiya

Dr. Kiran Chhabhadiya has over four years of clinical experience in emergency medicine, inpatient and outpatient care, internal medicine, cardiology, and private specialist practice in Kenya. He holds an MBChB from the University of Nairobi and has developed strong expertise in acute assessment, diagnostic workup, treatment planning, and continuity of care.
He completed his internship at Kiambu Level 5 Hospital, rotating through medicine, surgery, obstetrics and gynaecology, and paediatrics, where he managed high-acuity cases and gained experience in triage, stabilization, and emergency interventions. He subsequently worked in Accident & Emergency at MP Shah Hospital, providing acute and outpatient care.
For the past three years, Dr. Kiran has practised at Aga Khan University Hospital, Nairobi, with Dr. Warshow, Dr. Sheikh and Associates, managing inpatient and outpatient cases alongside multidisciplinary specialist teams. His clinical interests include cardiology, cardiovascular risk assessment, hypertension, diabetes, internal medicine, acute medical care, and preventive health.
Dr. Kiran is actively involved in community and charitable healthcare, participating in and coordinating free medical camps for underserved populations. He also facilitates referrals and care coordination for patients requiring specialized treatment abroad, including ongoing follow-up where appropriate services are unavailable or inaccessible locally.
